Final Dark Knight Rises Trailers Unveiled

Batman returns to the big screen in just twelve days' time!
The Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy has undoubtedly been an unresounding success, with nigh-on universal acclaim having swept over the franchise since its inception back in 2005. There really isn't long now until the phenemonal series reaches its natural conclusion, as The Dark Knight Rises is mere days away from release. To almost emphasise this sad yet exciting climax to our long wait, Christopher Nolan and the team at Warner Brothers have released an IMAX trailer and a behind-the-scenes documentary for the upcoming blockbuster finale. The IMAX trailer makes use of some thrilling new footage and rams in the idea of seeing it in the 'proper' format, as it were, while the documentary looks a little at how Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne is found in pain and recluse eight years on from the events of The Dark Knight, forced to confront his demons one final time as Bane rises to send Gotham into ashes. Don't worry, the doc doesn't go into spoiler territory, yet in terms of whetting our anticipation it really is about as good as things can get aside from the main feature itself! The Dark Knight Rises lands on July 20th.
