It's been a while since First Class, so I bet X-Men fans are more than ready for another instalment in the hit film franchise. Enter The Wolverine, a spiritual successor to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2.5/5) that will focus on Logan's adventures in Japan and his search for truth amongst love, violence and pure corruption. This spin-off to the main series will see Hugh Jackman reprise his role as the fiery protagonist once more, so despite First Class taking things in a radically different direction, it seems we'll still have some familiarity with the franchise's past here. Today, 20th Century Fox have confirmed a few more actors and actresses who will be joining the cast of the currently-filming project. The main additions are Will Yun Lee and Brian Tee, Eastern actors who will star as Japanese foes in the production. Whether the film will be a true adaptation of the classic Wolverine origins comic-books remains to be seen, but it'll be exciting to see the X-Men films back nevertheless. The Wolverine claws its way into theatres everywhere on July 26th, 2013.
