Deadline have today announced a new guest star set to feature in the upcoming third season of The CW's acclaimed superhero drama Arrow. After Season Two's dramatic finale "Unthinkable" took Starling City's most iconic superheroes and villains into bold new territory, it's safe to say that the series' status quo has all but imploded, an event which should undoubtedly set it on a thrilling new trajectory when it returns to our screens.
Facing off against everyone's favourite archer later this year will be none other than Devon Aoki, who'll play Tatsu Yamashiro in an early episode of Season Three. Tatsu is, of course, better known to the majority of DC fans as the persistent antagonist Katana, an expert in martial arts who stops at nothing to hunt down her foes. Aoki, meanwhile, will probably be recognised by cult followers of Sin City as the similarly versatile Mohi, though with any luck, she'll have more time to shine here than she did in the short-lived 2005 flick. Stay tuned to On-Screen for further details on Arrow's new series in the days ahead as we move ever closer to ComicCon.
Arrow returns to The CW (and Sky1, we hope!) for its game-changing third season on October 8th.
