BBC America have this week announced the commissioning of a third season of Orphan Black to be broadcast on our screens next year. Headed up by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, the hit science-fiction drama will presumably air its third season on BBC Three in the United Kingdom ahead of the aforementioned channel's imminent terrestrial downfall.
We'll have to wait until the series re-enters production to receive official casting announcements, but the corporation confirmed that lead star Tatiana Maslany will reprise her role (well, roles) as numerous cloned character constructs in Season Three. The run in question will comprise of ten 45-minute instalments and will be filmed over in Toronto, Canada in a few months' time. Keep it On-Screen in the weeks ahead as more commissioning announcements from BBC America and other studios hit the web.
Orphan Black will return for a third series of dystopian action on BBC America and BBC Three in Spring 2015.
