An alternate version of the Webbed Wonder's teaser trailer lands on our shores...Sony Pictures have today released a second teaser trailer for their upcoming superhero movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The second instalment in Marc Webb's rebooted franchise, the impending adventure once again features Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
They're not alone, however. A host of new stars joining the series are showcased in this UK variant of last week's teaser (below), including Django Unchained's Jamie Foxx as Electro, Rock of Ages' Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Chronicle's Dane DeHaan as the Green Goblin and The Muppets' Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. On top of those numerous additions, with Sony's announcement of spin-off films based on Venom and The Sinister Six set to follow The Amazing Spider-Man 3's 2016 release, web-veterans have tonnes to look forward to in terms of the studio's expansion of their Avengers and X-Men/Fantastic Four-rivalling isolated cinematic universe!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 powers up in UK cinemas on April 18th, 2014.
