Bethesda's latest open-world fantasy saga will launch before the first half of 2014 is done!
Bethesda Game Studios have today announced the official worldwide release dates of the PC and next-generation console versions of their upcoming fantasy video game The Elder Scrolls Online. A Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, Online is set hundreds of years before the events of the acclaimed 2011 RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Another major video game launch for 2014 slots into place, then. As always, January and February are relatively calm months for the industry, but the release schedule spikes in March, and it appears that the Summer period will be more hectic than usual thanks to Bethesda's worldwide launch. Rumours still reside that Fallout 4 is in the works, of course, yet for now, Online should be enough by far to sate fans' appetites...
The Elder Scrolls Online retails for PC on April 4th, 2014 and for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June 2014.
