Marvel Studios bring their fans a preview of the next Avengers Phase Two instalment!Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have today released the teaser trailer for their upcoming superhero thriller film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Set in the aftermath of Avengers Assemble, the sequel is an adaptation of one of the most popular Captain America comic-book arcs, a dark and visceral epic which reintroduces a key character from the protagonist's World War Two escapades.
This initial bout of footage (below) presents the viewer with tonnes of thrilling setpieces, light romantic drama, comic sequences and a shady antagonist waiting to strike against the Star-Spangled Avenger. Having Scarlet Johnasson return to the role of Black Widow looks to be an inspired strategic decision on Marvel's parts, and with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury too, there's a strong chance that The Winter Soldier could end up as the most successful and critically acclaimed Marvel Cinematic Universe entry pre-Avengers 2...
Captain America: The Winter Soldier sky-dives into UK cinemas on March 28th, 2014. Marvel fans can expect in addition the first trailer for Fox's X-Men: Days of Future Past to launch next Tuesday, October 29th.
