The Day of the Doctor draws near- see the incredible, specially-shot teaser trailer!The BBC have today released a full teaser trailer for Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary Special, The Day of the Doctor. Recorded specially after the episode's filming, the incredible video (below) features each of the Eleven Doctors battling some of their most memorable enemies from the past five decades, with Matt Smith's current incarnation teasing a day which he has been running from all his life, the titular 'Day of the Doctor' itself!
A brief word of warning before you press Play, though- this is a spectacular teaser for Day, make no mistake, but it's not intended to show off footage from the core 50th Anniversary episode. This footage is taken from outside of the 75-minute Special's production, although a full Day trailer is likely to be released within the next week too. For now, anyway, enjoy what is without a doubt one of the best television, make that overall entertainment, trailers we've seen in 2013 by a long way...
Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor broadcasts on BBC One, across 75 countries simultaneously and in cinemas worldwide on Saturday, November 23rd.
