Lionsgate provide another teaser for their biggest blockbuster film release of 2013.Lionsgate Studios have this week released a new television trailer for their upcoming fantasy film sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The second instalment in the studio's series of adaptations of Suzanne Collins' acclaimed teen fiction novels, Catching Fire takes place days after the events of 2012's The Hunger Games, with Katniss forced to endure a Victory Tour in the aftermath of the Games, and a rebellion threatening each of the twelve districts into chaos, leaving the Capitol with just one option.
With 2013 rolling towards its climax at an alarming rate, Catching Fire faces a difficult challenge in making itself stand out from its competitors, including Gravity, Anchorman: The Legend Continues and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. There's every chance, however, that the much anticipated follow-up will be another commercial success for Lionsgate, an outcome which the studio are no doubt aiming for what with a two-part adaptation of Collins' final act of the trilogy, Mockingjay, already well into production.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire burns into cinemas worldwide on November 22nd.
