Disney unveil their first Marvel Cinematic Universe theme park ride- the results may surprise you...Walt Disney Resorts have this week announced an Iron Man Experience theme park attraction. Based on the events of Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man film trilogy from the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, this simulator ride takes its participants on a action-packed journey alongside the Armoured Avenger himself against an army of crazed villains.
How surprising it is, then, given the worldwide success of this sector of the Marvel series, that the company have elected to première the attraction at their Hong Kong resort. Perhaps if it proves to be a hit, the ride will be fast-tracked to Florida, Paris and the like, but at the time of its opening, the simulator video will feature Hong Kong as its primary setting, suggesting that such a video can't simply be ported over to other countries with ease. With any luck, more venues for the ride will be announced in the coming month as anticipation for its initial opening rises!
Iron Man Experience will première at Disneyland Hong Kong in 2016.
