Fox follow up on Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer with a teaser for their own 2014 superhero epic...Fox Studios have today released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past. Set after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand and The Wolverine, this ambitious blockbuster will bring together a huge ensemble of mutant characters from both the original trilogy and the First Class prequel universe.
As one might hope of a preview for an ensemble piece such as this, the first trail (below) reveals virtually all of the X-Men characters set to feature in the film itself. Series regulars such as Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, Beast, Iceman, Rogue, Shadowcat and Storm all make appearances, along with newcomers including Cable and Quicksilver. The Wolverine was a solid return to form for this fledging motion picture franchise, and yet it could be with Days that the franchise regains its posture as one of the more groundbreaking members of the superhero genre.
X-Men: Days of Future Past materialises in cinemas worldwide on May 23rd, 2014.
