Today has seen the release of the full nomination shortlist for this year's Academy Awards ceremony. Presented by Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone, the nomination announcement event featured a host of big and more subtle 2012 (and early 2013) movies recognised for their sheer quality and prowess, featuring a notably more well-known and well-rounded list of films than last year's significantly indie line-up.
