Although they're in no way related to the classic Coldplay album X&Y, sadly, so no "I will try...to catch you"!Nintendo have this week announced the exciting news that two brand new Pokemon video games are in development for release worldwide later this year. Titled Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, the latest instalments in the hit RPG fantasy franchise will feature a full 3D open world for players to roam as their chosen Trainers, capturing a menagerie of new Poke-characters brought in from the expanded Trading Card series and indeed the classic TV show. The 'X' and 'Y' titles refer to Super Pokemon with the two letters engraved on their backs, although their overall influence within the two games' respective competitions and narratives remains to be seen. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will launch on Nintendo 3DS this Autumn.
