Coming Up This Week: January 14th-20th

Quentin Tarantino's latest Oscar nominee leads the pack in another brilliant week of entertainment!
We're now entering a much better period for the entertainment industry after the first couple of slum weeks for 2013, so from now on you can expect with excitement a host of great new releases each and every week without fail for months on end! This week kicks off the busy season with a bang, featuring Tarantino's acclaimed Django Unchained amongst other much-anticipated releases.

On-Screen will be taking a small break of radio silence for a couple of days, but from Wednesday onwards we'll be back in full too with the definitive verdict on Les Miserables, Doctor Who: The Legacy Collection and loads more exciting exclusives. Here's our round-up of the week, then...
DMC: DEVIL MAY CRY- What, a new game, you say? You'd better believe it- Namco Bandai are bursting back with a visceral, bloody hack-and-slasher that will kick start the year in gaming with an almighty crack. Don't necessarily expect Devil May Cry to be a Game Of The Year 2013 contender, yet there'll be a good lot of fun to be had here. (Tuesday 15th)
DJANGO UNCHAINED- You've probably heard the gossip already. Django Unchained is up for BAFTAs, Golden Globes and Oscars galore, with stars such as Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio headlining this ambitious Western blockbuster that's packed with underlying themes of slavery and redemption. This is one 2013 film that you'd have to be as dull as tumbleweed to miss...(Friday 18th)
MONSTERS INC. 3D- Walt Disney Studios haven't missed a trick with the success of their 3D re-releases, hitting us with The Lion King and Toy Story this past year and earning cash by the bucketload as a result. Monsters Inc. 3D continues that big trend, resurrecting the 2004 classic animated movie ahead of its prequel Monsters University's release this Summer. Miss this one, and you may need to be just that little more scared of what's really in your cupboard than ever before! (Friday 18th)
GLEE: MAKEOVER- At McKinley High, the student council elections are raging, and friendships lie in the balance as members of the New Directions fight for their places. Meanwhile, Finn's back on the scene in New York, when Kurt finds an internship with a journalist played by Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker, and the Rachel-Brodey relationship reaches its crux...(Sunday 20th)
CALL THE MIDWIFE SERIES TWO- BBC1 have stumbled onto a true hit with Call The Midwife, so it's no surprise that this ratings hit is back for a second season of episodes. Expect more shocks, twists and of course pregnancies as a new set of adventures awaits Britain's most lovable band of midwifes. (Sunday 20th)
AND THERE'S MORE- Dredd and Lawless both arrive at DVD and Blu-Ray retailers tomorrow, plus Miranda continues tomorrow night on BBC1!
AND NEXT WEEK...We're getting another fast double succession of Oscar triumphs with Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty, things take a turn for the worst in Glee: The Break Up, Arrow returns with its mid-season premiere, Sky Atlantic commence their Season 2 re-run with Game Of Thrones: The North Remembers, Eoin Colfer kicks off the 50th Anniversary celebrations with Doctor Who: A Big Hand For The Doctor, the National Television Awards 2013 are revealed and Halo 4 returns for its mid-season premiere. Yep, next week is a big one!
