Every fanboy's biggest dream is made a reality this Autumn...Traveller's Tales and Marvel Studios have today announced the development of a new team-up video game, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, for release later this year. Following in the wake of the success of The Avengers, and hit Marvel LEGO franchises such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Men and those famed S.H.I.E.L.D. superheroes, it's a logical and exciting step for both companies to take.
Here's the official Marvel site's take on the ambitious new game: "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of Worlds." It should be a brilliant storyline that combines the rough plot elements of Avengers and Fantastic Four among other big series, and with any luck there'll be voices included in the narrative once again.
