Discover who'll be producing An Adventure In Time And Space...News on the 50th Anniversary preparations for what Doctor Who will get up to this year in 2013 is slowly but surely treacling out. First up, Freema Agyeman has confirmed that while past companions who joined the show after its 2005 reprisal will likely make promotional appearances in interviews and conventions in the lead-up to the big day, certainly she won't be involved in the planned anniversary special itself.
On a brighter note, though, today has seen the announcement of the man who will act as producer on Mark Gatiss' documentary-drama An Adventure In Time And Space. Focusing on the creation and early days of Who, the BBC2 drama's producer will be Matt Strevens, a well-regarded ex-script editor on both Eastenders and The Bill. Writer Gatiss has also confirmed that the programme will commence shooting next month.
An Adventure In Time And Space will broadcast on BBC2 this November.
