Karl Pilkington returns for more global antics this Autumn...Hot on the midst of his various appearances in the first full season of Channel 4's comedy-drama Derek, Sky1 have this week confirmed that Karl Pilkington will head a new documentary series called The Moaning Of Life later this year. This new comedy series will be the first which Pilkington heads without the help of his fellow comedians Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who both accompanied him in his previous TV series An Idiot Abroad these past three years.
The show will see Karl travel the world in order to experience "how other cultures face up to life's big issues". Of the new series, Karl had this to say: "I'm still none the wiser as to what the world's all about really. I've never worried about life's big questions. People at my age sit about pondering about, 'Why are we here?'- the only time I ever asked myself that si when Suzanne booked us a surprise holiday to Lanzarote!"
The Moaning Of Life debuts on Sky1 this Autumn.
