Angry Birds Announced For Nintendo 3DS
No matter what your thoughts on Nintendo's next handheld, it's becoming evidently clear that the 3DS is going to have one hell of a launch this March, and developer Rovio Mobile just kicked things up another notch today with their announcement that all three Angry Birds iPhone titles will be ported to the console shortly after its release. The move follows Rovio's ports on Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable, as well as many other mobile devices such as the Android and Google HTC, so will doubtless come as no surprise to handheld gamers in the know. Currently, the developer has released three full Angry Birds games on the iPhone and iPad: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and the upcoming Angry Birds Rio (based on the upcoming animated film Rio), so 3DS gamers can expect loads of temperamental birds to be fluttering onto their shiny new consoles sometime in April.
