Nicholas Courtney died today aged 82. Courtney was famous for his role as Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart in Doctor Who alongside Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy and ultimately Elisabeth Sladen in an episode of the spin-off show The Sarah Jane Adventures called 'Enemy Of The Bane'. The actor also appeared in All Creatures Great and Small, The Rocky Horror Show and Only Fools and Horses, remaining an avid fan of Who all the while. We here at On-Screen send Nicholas' family our thoughts in this hard time, and also want to express our huge gratitude to the late actor for all the brilliant contributions he made to the world of entertainment in his lifetime.
