Prometheus Alien Elements Confirmed

Ridley Scott is currently working on Prometheus, a brand new science fiction movie set on an alien world and hopefully being released late next year, and now we know that although it has shaken the original name 'Alien: Birth', there will still be obvious connections with the Alien franchise. Den Of Geek reveals that "the Space Jockey creature is definitely in Prometheus", the Space Jockey being a famous adversary in the franchise and now apparently an eight-foot animatronic is going to be used to portray it while filming. Michael Fassbender, a major name in the cast of the flick also set to appear in X-Men: First Class this June, has also been quoted as saying that "there's a definite connecting vein to the Alien universe", so from what we can this will not in fact be an Alien prequel as originally planned or a stand alone movie by Scott, instead taking place during or after the time period of the original films. Sounds great, as long as Scott can be more creative in Prometheus than Robert Rodriguez was in the lacklustre 2010 revamp Predators!
