Bungie's Halo days are behind it now, and the company already sound like they're hard at work on a brand new franchise, reportedly titled 'Destiny'. The news comes from a report today from Kotaku, as Bungie are supposedly developing a Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter (MMOFPS) for release in 2013. Destiny implies there will also be role-play or strategy elements allowing players to manipulate the resolution of the game, and knowing Bungie we will probably still get an intense single-player campaign for gamers who prefer to play offline (myself included). Bungie wouldn't confirm or deny that their new multi-title project is called Destiny or features first person shooting, however we do already know that whatever they're making is published by Activision, a company known to reveal their games
way before they release, so it shouldn't be too long a wait. Meanwhile, we do know that 343 Industries is hard at work on another Halo, possibly a HD remake of the original, Combat Evolved, but definitely not a continuation of the main plot as Master Chief will be "chilling- literally" in the cryostasis unit he was placed in at the end of Halo 3...
