Chewbacca, Tarkin For Star Wars: The Clone Wars
The news every fan has been, well, probably not expecting has arrived: original trilogy legend Chewbacca will make his first appearance in the Star Wars Clone Wars spin-off series in just a few weeks time. The famed Wookie will debut in the two-part season finale, its pair of episodes titled "Padawan Lost" and "Wookie Hunt". We last saw Chewie in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith facing off against the Seperatists at the end of the war with Jedi Master Yoda before they narrowly escaped death at the hands of rouge Clone Troopers. Knowing the writers of The Clone Wars, there'll be a big crisis on the Wookie homeworld of Kashykk for Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka to tackle with Chewbacca's help. Also surprising is that Grand Moff Tarkin, the doomed Imperial general set to be killed as Luke makes the one-in-the-million shot that destroys the Death Star, but glimpsed too at the end of Episode III. Presumably Anakin and Tarkin won't see eye to eye since as far as we know their meeting in Revenge was their first, however we still can't wait to see how the general plays a part in the ongoing war. Anyway, expect my full review of every episode leading up to and including "Wookie Hunt" as the finale nears!
