As I've said before, this year I will remain pretty light on spoilers for the new season of Doctor Who, only keeping you up to date with the day of the show's return and casting news, the latter of which has seen an interesting development today: James Corden will return in Series Six as Craig Owens. Since the first half (set to air from April) of the season has already been filmed, it seems likely that Corden will appear in the Autumn run. Rumour has it his character will play a part in Episode 12- usually that is the first part of the series finale, so are we looking at a major one-episode story to close the series instead, perhaps at a bumper length? What with storylines such as River and the Silence to continue and/or close, we doubt it, so maybe James Corden will appear in the finale, or maybe somewhere else. Corden is famous for his writing and role as Smithy in the BBC comedy Gavin and Stacey, and since has also made cameos in films like Planet 51 and Gulliver's Travels. More info on where Craig returns in the season as we near Doctor Who's return to British TV this April!
