Variety have this week announced a new guest star set to feature in the supporting cast of Marvel Studios' impending science-fiction blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. Featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista at the head of a star-studded cast ensemble, Guardians picks up where March's Captain America: The Winter Soldier left off with S.H.I.E.L.D. in ruins and the galaxy at large left vulnerable to extraterrestrial threats in their hordes.
One such adversary? Thanos. Last glimpsed grinning like the Cheshire Cat in the closing moments of Marvel's Avengers Assemble, the Master of Death will be making his second full appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe later this Summer, and it's Josh Brolin who'll be voicing the character. If that name doesn't ring an immediate bell for you, dear reader, then we'd wholeheartedly suggest that you check out Men In Black III and No Country for Old Men so as to gain a worthy demonstration of the man's talents. Seeing how Brolin brings Thanos to life in Guardians should be amongst the most entertaining experiences of this year's Summer of Film...
Guardians of the Galaxy materializes in UK cinemas nationwide on July 31st.
