Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment have today announced a new playable character set to feature in their upcoming action-adventure platforming video game LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Developed by Traveller's Tales, the sequel to 2012's LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes will see its titular protagonist team up with Superman and the Justice League of America (just a year and a half before Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice) to fight Braniac and his legions of evil across the universe with the aid of the Green Lantern Corps.
As you'll see in the official tweet from TT Games below, Plastic Man is joining Beyond Gotham's superhero roster this time around. He was first introduced in a World War Two comic way back in the 1940s, and whilst he's hardly on a par with the Dark Knight or Wonder Woman in terms of his popularity and the ambition of his ongoing story arcs, it's hardly a stretch (sorry) to think that he'll be a valuable addition to the intergalactic ensemble which awaits us in the finished product...
