Another Name Added To Dark Knight Cast

Filming is well underway on The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the modern Batman trilogy, and now as production continues another cast name has been added to the rapidly expanding list. Josh Pence will play...Ra's Al Ghul! Wait a minute, I hear you eagle-eyed Bat fans yell, wasn't Ra's killed at the end of Batman Begins when the character, played by Liam Neeson at the time, was left by our hero on an exploding train carriage? Firstly, in the comics the antagonist is known to be immortal and indestructible, with the ability to change his image ever present, but for now Pence has just been confirmed to appear in flashback. Rumour has it the League of Shadows, now led by his daughter Talia Al Ghul, will provide the threat in Rises, so perhaps this flashback will see Ra's training Talia as he did Bruce Wayne...? The Dark Knight Rises is still a long way off from its July 2012 release date, but until then speculation will most definitely be rife as to what role Pence will have!
