Iron Man 3 Writer Confirmed

Work on Iron Man 3, the third entry in the popular Marvel film franchise, is well underway, with Drew Pearce now confirmed to be penning the screenplay for Tony Stark's next big screen adventure. Pearce is well known for writing the British television drama No Heroics (also about superheroes), so should be finely suited-see what I did there?-for this role. We already know that the movie will be directed by Shane Black as his predecessor Jon Favreau departed the series to work on Disney's big new film Magic Kingdom (slated for release in 2013/14), and Black has promised the flick won't just be another two hours of watching metal men fight with a ton of special effects, but one with substance and perhaps some real-world enemies. Iron Man 3 is hoped to release in cinemas on May 3rd, 2013!
