Burnout: Crash Confirmed?

We haven't seen Burnout since Paradise released in 2009, so Electronic Arts seem to think it's a good time for one of their biggest gaming franchises to return. Enter Burnout: Crash, apparently confirmed to be in development by an Australian ratings board for release later this year. Speaking to website Joystiq, the board said that the latest instalment will be set "in the fictional world of Crash City", with the aim this time being to "cause as much damage as possible to traffic and buildings by crashing into them." Sounds a bit mundane if you ask me, but with any luck we should hear more from developer Criterion Studios at E3 in June!
