Absolutely no one expected Universal Pictures to comission a sequel to 2003's Johnny English, a spy comedy starring Rowan Atkinson that featured decent- if repetitive- gags, but that's exactly what the distributor has gone on to do nearly eight years after said film's release. Below, you can see the trailer for the new instalment. Titled Johnny English: Reborn, the film returns to find the dim-witted secret agent hiding out in Tibetian caves years after a mission went badly wrong, only for a monk to find Mr. English and attempt to train him when MI6 require his help back home. Whether Reborn can do enough to not be another Agent Cody Banks, The Spy Next Door or (shudder) Big Momma's House remains to be seen on October 7th, but judging on our first look things don't look promising...
