Radio Times Reveal Doctor Who Series Six (1)

The RadioTimes magazine has shared a deep connection with Doctor Who since the show's inception, regularly promoting the return of the programme to BBC One with interviews and episode guides galore, and this year is no different. Written by Steven Moffat, the 16th-22nd April edition's article reveals some light and not too spoilerish details (mainly because the Moff has been wanting to keep the overall plot arc and its twists under wraps) about the first seven episodes. "When last seen, the Doctor tumbled down a chimney on Christmas Eve and saved a bad man's soul, but darker days now lie ahead. The Silence, the unseen enemy who blew up the TARDIS last year, have set the deadliest trap of all- one that has been ticking away in the Doctor's life for longer than anyone knows. Newlyweds Amy and Rory are caught up in a century-spanning scheme, and somewhere out there, in a storm-lashed prison, River Song is getting ready to tell the Doctor something that will change his life forever." Steven then goes on to say that in the opening two-parter, "By Lake Silencio, a story will begin and end. A good man is going to die [so DWM were right when they said the Doctor, Amy, Rory or River was going to die- is it going to be a man?], an impossible life will begin, and our heroes will set out on the long road to the deadliest secret in the universe- and when it stares you in the face, you might just discover you've known about it all along." More details in the article above...
