Alesha Dixon, David Walliams Confirmed For BGT

To absolutely no one's surprise, Britain's Got Talent is returning to our screens for its sixth consecutive year (and series) in just a few short months. What may come as a surprise, though, is that there's been yet another shake-up to the judging panel: neither Michael McIntyre nor David Hasslehoff will be returning to the panel this season due to other committments. This left two open seats, yet these have actually been filled by three people- David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and returning judge Simon Cowell. Cowell departed the show to work on X Factor USA back in 2010, but now that talent show is fully up and running, he's back to give a good rollocking to anyone who dares think they have an inch of talent when they clearly don't. That last year's winner (whose name escapes me) was such a mediocre performer is testament to how astray the programme has gone as of late, so getting Simon back is a great twist, yet I think the inclusion of Dixon and Walliams in the panel should really help for a change in tone and style for the show too. Britain's Got Talent returns this Spring.
