We don't know tons about the remake of 1993 top-down shooter Syndicate just yet, and that's weird seeing as it's due for release next month, but I've got a feeling it could be one of the unsung underdogs of 2012, a great first-person shooter to kick things off with a bang a couple of weeks before Mass Effect and Max Payne arrives. What with the recent drought of new releases, I'm eager to play something unique and innovative, and judging by the trailer released today to promote the co-op play modes, that's exactly what we're going to get.
