New DC Comics Logo Unveiled

You know the feeling when you wake up the morning after a drunken escapade with a hangover, and although you're a bit proud of what you've done, with hindsight you just regret it all, and wish you could undo it? I'm guessing that's the kind of sense DC Comics are going to get when they check out the forums after unveiling their new 'DC Comics' and 'DC Entertainment' logos, new and modern grey-and-black lettering which can pretty much help sum 'em up as...well, as dull as it gets. Yep, much as I hate to say it, these new logos stink compared to the recent blue and white ring incarnation revealed in 2005, and I hope we're not going to be seeing these in cinemas in front of Dark Knight Rises or Man of Steel anytime soon, because it may just make those (hopefully) brilliant experiences that less brilliant. Okay, so that won't really be the case, but nonetheless I hope the once and future Detective Comics can sort out their mistake with these horrid atrocities as soon as possible, listening to fans such as myself for once!
