Blogger StitchKingdom has revealed that they recently had a newsletter sent to them by Disney Interactive announcing Epic Mickey 2, a sequel to the gothic Nintendo Wii game released in 2010. Set in an alternate fairytale world, the original saw players take on the role of Mickey Mouse as he discovered many of Walt Disney's lost creations and worked with them to restore colour to their world with his magical paintbrush. Now, if that wasn't an epic premise in itself, I don't know what is! Jests aside, the first game was reviewed well, and I always wanted to get around to playing it, so the opportunity to do so now is a welcome one here. According to the newsletter, the game will be released on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and feature a new storyline and offline co-operative play. If the camera and visual issues of the original can be fixed, expect a great new action-adventure title to round off this generation of consoles with come Christmas time, when the game should be released.CATCH A DEMO OF THE ORIGINAL:
