Paramount Announce Paranormal Activity 4

Can't get enough of the Paranormal Activity series? Then good news- a new instalment in the now-annual film franchise has just been announced by distributor Paramount Pictures today in its 2012 press release: "In 2012, release slate highlights include World War Z, a zombie thriller starring Brad Pitt and directed by Marc Foster, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the next instalment in the global franchise starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Channing Tatum, a new chapter in the Paranormal Activity franchise, and The Dictator, starring Sacha Baron Cohen and directed by Larry Charles, the team behind Borat." There's no confirmation as to whether Activity 4 will be a prequel as the 2011 sequel Paranormal Activity was, or whether it will continue the story from where the first and second movies left off, but rest assured that the edge-of-your-seat thrills, jerks and scares that keep this franchise alive and kicking will be back in full force when Paranormal Activity 4 hits cinemas this Autumn!
