For reasons unknown, Entertainment Film Distributors have removed horror sequel Pirahna 3DD from their UK cinema release schedule for 2012, instead electing to send the film straight to DVD and Blu-Ray players. The movie takes place after the events of the original, and sees the CGI swarm of carnivores attack a water park party which features David Hasslehoff as himself being a lifeguard. It's hardly the most exciting premise for a movie, but I'm really struggling to see why this one was canned unless (and this tends to be case with straight-to-video films) it was really bad. The film will still release in US cinemas in the Summer, but hits DVD and Blu-Ray retailers on March 19th.WATCH THE TRAILER:
