First Bourne Legacy Poster Revealed

Well, I'm sorry to say that if you want to go about launching a new promotional campaign for a reboot of a long-dead franchise, this is not how you do it. The first poster for The Bourne Legacy has been unveiled, and while it sets up the blatantly contrasted tone to the original trilogy with its new logo and marks Jeremy Renner as its lead, that's just about everything I can say in its favour. What were Cine1's marketing team thinking when they made this? 'Prepare For The Unexpected'...what, were we not meant to? At least Marvel and 20th Century Fox got excitement levels raised by teasing 'The Untold Story' for their Amazing Spider-Man reboot releasing this July- here, we're told absolutely nothing about the events of the plot or the franchise's relation to its source material. Hopefully, we'll get the first trailer for the movie soon to clear things up, but so far Cine1 isn't off to a good start! The Bourne Legacy hits cinemas on August 17th.
