Now! That's What I Call Music 80 Review (4.5/5)

It's always going to be a little strange reviewing a big compilation album such as Now 80 because music is really all about taste, so what I say here may not necessarily apply here to everyone. That said, I reckon Now/Records have conjured up one of their best selections yet for Christmas, packing the 2-disc set with some pretty big hits of the last few months of 2011, even if there are one or two duff tracks not many mainstream listeners will have heard of. There isn't much in the way of indie music, so don't try to convert music newbies to the alternative genres with this roster, but if you just want some great party tunes and a good way to reminisce with some of the most popular artists around, you really can't go wrong with this selection.
