New Doctor Who BBC America Trailer

Typical- you get three months of little to no information on the next series of Doctor Who, then everything starts to get revealed with just weeks left until the season premières! Following hot on the heels of the full length trailer for the first half of Series 6 that was aired on Wednesday, BBC America unveiled a brand new look at the opening episodes The Impossible Astronaut/Day Of The Moon along with a few clips from the other five stories in the Spring run. Instead of just reusing footage from our ad, though, the channel has really pulled out all the stops with this one, showing off the Silence, the dangers that await Rory and in particular Amy, some of the villains and locales we can expect to see and of course River Song's return, looking as always to be preceded by "Hello, sweetie!" As with the other video, things look much darker for Who  this season, with far less old adversaries recycled from previous years and far more brand new villains for the titular Time Lord to take on. Doctor Who returns on Saturday April 23rd.
