2011 Game Review Predictions #1

So, 2011 is already shaping up to be a big year for gaming...in the second half, anyway. Before the floodgates open, though, I thought it would be best to try and predict which titles will suceed and which won't. First up, let's look at what's coming out until July (the /10 ratings are predictions):
LEGO STAR WARS III- Probably the same as ever, fun stuff with new gimmicks. 8.5/10
CRYSIS 2- Brilliant graphics, intense game-play, typical sci-fi plot, still an FPS. 8/10
OPERATION FLASHPOINT- Still too difficult, but aids help give more interest. 7/10
PORTAL 2- Excellent puzzles crafted, hilarious story, only let down by replay value. 9.5/10
L.A NOIRE- Sublime facial animations, exhilirating cases, sometimes too slowly paced. 9/10
THOR: GOD OF THUNDER- Superhero game, film tie-in (not good, then!). 4.5/10
LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN- Same as ever, getting old now. 8/10
TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON- Film tie-in about robots...5/10
CHILD OF EDEN- Great use of Kinect, but somewhat shallow. 8.5/10
CAPTAIN AMERICA: SUPER SOLDIER- Film tie-in. 3/10
There you have it then, for now at least. Expect my look at 2011's back half this week!
