LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean Trailer Arrives

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game is set for a release alongside new film On Stranger Tides this May, and here you can see the cover for the title and the first full-length trailer. Based around all four blockbuster movies, the game will mix the events of Captain Jack Sparrow's exciting life of pirating with the trademark humour that developer Traveller's Tales is known for in its LEGO franchise. There will even be the chance to team up with another player (offline, mind you, so invite them round!) in every level, pairing up characters like Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Angelica and of course Johnny Depp's iconic captain too. Will it be the best game released in 2011? Definitely not, but there's still a fair bit of hope for LEGO Pirates to make waves in the action-platformer genre when it sails onto our shores on May 13th.
