Call Of Duty: Black Ops Is Biggest US Game
The Call of Duty hysteria goes on even four months after the release of Black Ops: US sales ratings have revealed that the latest instalment is the biggest ever selling game in America. This is a pretty impressive accolade, as the Vietnam-set sequel wasn't exactly held in the highest regard by most gamers, coming off as predictable and tired after Activision's previous efforts World at War and Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops has pipped other big-selling video games to the post like Wii Play, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, selling a whopping 13.7 million copies across the country. Fans will surely be wondering now when the next COD is on its way, and apparently that might be Modern Warfare 3, rumoured to be in development by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games (who are also making their own COD, but had to come to IW's aid). If it's true, then we will probably see it announced next month or alongside the reveals of the next Assassin's Creed, X-Men and Spider-Man instalments due in May.
