Portal 2 Gets New Song

Ever wished that rock band the National would perform a brand new single exclusively for one of the year's most promising games? Wish fulfilled, then, as Portal 2 will indeed feature a brand new track by the same people who brought us Mistaken for Strangers and Apartment Story. The expanded version of the original, titled Still Alive, featured a number of the same name sung by Ellen McLaine, so the franchise is not a stranger to the world of music, and with good reason- it'd be all too easy for the frequent silence of the test chambers to feel tedious, so music lightens the atmosphere somewhat! If Portal 2 becomes the sum of its parts with all these additions as I think it can and will, then we're all going to be wowed on April 22nd...
