New Kinect Games Announced
As promised, Microsoft have unveiled some new games for their Kinect peripheral on Xbox 360, and although they're not some of the core announcements we have been promised up to and including the Electronic Entertainment Expo, they should still appeal to many casual gamers come their Autumn releases. First up is Doodle Jump- don't worry, there'll be no £40 to spend here; instead, the game will be made available for download with controller and motion compatibility on the Xbox Live Arcade marketplace at an as-of-yet unknown price. In addition, you can expect Total Wipeout to make its first appearance on your £129.99 camera later this year as well in a title called Wipeout In The Zone, featuring all the challenge of the hit television show (well, the American version anyway) like traversing the big red balls, being shot out of a cannon and plunged into water and much more besides. How well either successful franchise can be translated onto Kinect will have to be speculated for now, but you can expect the first footage of both titles as and when On-Screen gets it...
