There's still a little while to wait until the next Spider-Man movie, but now we've got the first image of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in their respective portrayals as alter-ego Peter Parker and teenage crush Gwen Stacey. The reboot, set for release in July 2012, will provide a fresh take on the origins tale where Parker is fuelled to turn superhero when his uncle is killed by a mercenary. There's certainly not much given away here, however other shots of the scene have shown Garfield and Stone kissing, so clearly Peter will have more than one incentive to fight the good fight this time around. Expect a trailer for the untitled instalment sometime near the end of 2011.
