January is a pretty slow month in terms of releases, but here are the 5 out this month that have enough promise to ensure it's not a period totally devoid of fun:5. KINGDOM HEARTS RE-CODED: A revamped version of an episodic mobile game, Re-Coded continues the Kingdom Hearts plot from where the second PS2 title left off as Jiminy Cricket discovers his log of events for Sora and co. corrupted, creating a digital version of Sora to replay the events of the original and sort out the glitches. This DS sequel could be great, but after a lacklustre first go you'll forgive my scepticism at first, so expect my review when it comes down in price!
4. THE KING'S SPEECH: Colin Firth stars in a retelling of King George VI's struggle to overcome his stammer before WWII opens that mixes education and emotion.
3. LITTLE BIG PLANET 2: After the original gained a cult following, the sequel looks set to continue this community and add great Move compatibility.
2. DEAD SPACE 2: From what I've played of this gem in the demo, it seems to be a game packed to the brim with polish and true horror game-play. Will it be a hit?
1. SEASON OF THE WITCH: Up and coming actress Claire Foy plays a menacing sorceress alongside Nicholas Cage in what could be the best release of the month!
