The new generation of consoles kicks off later this year!Epic Studios may just have begun to lift the lid on the next generation of video gaming consoles today. Their vice-president Mark Rein has been speaking about the Unreal Engine 4, teased at recent Games' Developer Conferences with the 'Samaritan' trailer and now seemingly about to be unveiled in full force on "systems we can't name yet...later this year". The earlier part of that quotation suggests something very exciting- if Epic won't dare announce the name of the consoles they'll show the engine running on, and it's not likely to be the WiiU or PSVita as they're barely running HD graphics, that more than likely means the studio has their hands on the next Xbox and PlayStation, and thus are starting to test out new games for the next-generation consoles. What exciting news! I'm sure Sony and Microsoft may try to cover this one up in the next few days; nevertheless, it marks an exciting confirmation that the future of video gaming is about to get very interesting indeed...
