Sky1's latest domestic drama finds a home for a second year!
Ruth Jones' new comedy series Stella has turned out to be quite the head-turner for Sky1, bringing in fans of Gavin and Stacey yet turning out to be a show with an altogether different kind of depth and charm about it that has the potential to run for a good few years. Hence, the channel have recommisioned the show for a second season of episodes. Due to shoot later this year, the new series will consist of ten more fourty-five minute instalments that will once again star Jones as Stella and see most of the main cast from the first run return to their popular roles. Could we even get a cameo or two from James Corden along the way? That may well be wishful thinking, but what with Corden now finished with his One Man, Two Guvnors role, perhaps that possibility isn't as out of the question as one might think...either way, Stella will air for two more episodes in the next fortnight, then return to our screens in Spring 2013 on Sky1.
