Brits will have to look elsewhere for one of this year's biggest games.
Rumours that UK retailer GAME have been undergoing certain financial troubles have been abound recently, and now it seems they have come to fruition with the shop's announcement that they will not stock any games by Electronic Arts released in March, Mass Effect 3 included. This will undoubtedly be a huge blow to their sales, 15% of their shares having been sold already as a result of the move, and it places even more pressure on BioWare's hugely anticipated sci-fi shooter to sell elsewhere, in high-street stores like HMV and CEX and via online retailers Amazon and Play. It will also mean that bar SSX, every other game previously due for release in March from EA- FIFA Street and The Sims 3: Nightime the main others- will not ship through GAME. The retailer has promised a refund of any £5 pre-order deposits made recently via Reward Card points, but if I were you I'd use those points fast, because as much as it pains me to say it, GAME is heading downhill- and fast. Mass Effect 3 is due for release next Friday, March 9th.
