Find out when two of this year's hottest shooters hit Britain's stores...Today's been great for confirmations of video game release dates, with both the projected release dates for first-person shooters Spec Ops: The Line and Borderlands 2 announced in the past twenty four hours. The Line is an intriguing twist on the modern FPS which involves destruction akin to Battlefield and an epic online multiplayer set to possibly rival even the Call of Duty franchise, while the new Borderlands takes the formula of the successful 2009 RPG and adds new guns, locales, characters and story arcs for fantasy-diehards to divulge in. 2K Games are saying that Spec Ops: The Line will be with us on June 29th (nearby Darksiders II's release), while Gearbox Software have confirmed Borderlands 2 will retail on September 21st (just a couple of weeks after Far Cry 3)
